While you do want to put more time and consideration into choosing what seeds you want to grow and the environment you’re cultivating in, having the right tools and equipment is also important to assure your safety and comfort.

Just because it is lower on the list does not mean it is not as important. Choosing the best tools for the job will increase your chances for success while causing you minimal stress, pains, or discomfort. These factors are important for those of you who plan on making this apart of your lifestyle. The more you stress because you don’t have the right tools, the less likely you are to continue growing - and that’s with anything you cultivate, not just cannabis.

The dictionary defines the term ‘ergonomic’ as, “relating to or designed for efficiency and comfort in the working environment.” This is a key component to understanding how repetitive movements can affect the body over time. The more stressful the movements, the less likely you are to repeat them and then you’re more likely to stop growing do to physical pain (I don’t want to use the trimmers because they hurt my hand) or psychological anxiety (I dread harvesting because using those trimmers hurt halfway through).

The more you limit negative factors, the greater the chance you will become a successful cultivator over a long period of time.

Tents

A grow tent is the best way to make sure you are able to provide accurate control over your plants' growing environment.

The larger the tent, the more you can grow, just try not to grow more than you can handle.

Lights

Lights are possibly most important thing after the seeds.

You plants need lots of light for photosynthesis to occur which is need for optimum growth.

Make sure not to overdo it; too much light is just as bad as not enough light.

Filters

Don't want your neighbors in your business, then you need to make sure you have an appropriate sized air filtration system.

Even if its legal where you are, you still don't want to bring attention to your valuable medication.

Containers

The containers your plants grow in are also very important.

The container provider a safe and nurturing space for you plant's roots to grow.

The more healthy the roots, the higher the quantity and quality of your medicine.
