About the Recipe

Ingredients

  - 2 cans (28 ounces each) crushed tomatoes

  - 1/4 cup cannabis-infused olive oil

  - 6 cloves garlic, minced

  - 2 tablespoons tomato paste

  - 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust based on heat preference)

  - 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

  - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. Heat the cannabis-infused olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.


  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until golden, being careful not to burn it.


  3. Stir in the tomato paste and red pepper flakes, cooking for a few minutes until the tomato paste deepens in color.


  4. Add the crushed tomatoes and bring the sauce to a simmer.


  5. Reduce the heat to low and cook for about 25-30 minutes, until the sauce thickens.


  6. Stir in the chopped basil and season with salt and pepper.


  7. Serve this fiery sauce with pasta, seafood, or as a dipping sauce, letting each dish tell a story of a rugged, passionate coastline and its spirited cuisine.
