At the Wake'n'Bake Lounge, we believe in the power of soup to soothe, heal, and gather people around the table. Today, I share with you this distinct recipe for cannabis-infused vegetable soups, crafted not only to nourish but also to tell a story—a story woven with the warmth of tradition and the promise of comfort.

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons cannabis-infused olive oil

- 1 onion, chopped

- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 2 cans (14 oz each) whole tomatoes

- 2 cups vegetable broth

- 1/2 cup heavy cream

- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Croutons and additional basil for garnish

Preparation

1. In a large pot, heat the cannabis-infused olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until soft and translucent.


2. Add the whole tomatoes, including the juice, and vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer.


3. Using an immersion blender, puree the soup until smooth.


4. Stir in the heavy cream and chopped basil, and season with salt and pepper.


5. Let the soup simmer for another 10 minutes to meld the flavors.


6. Serve hot, garnished with croutons and a sprig of fresh basil.
