What is the “CULTIVATE” token?
Compassionate Care Cultivators’ “CULTIVATE” token is a means of exchange that gives you more value for the products and services offered. With the value of the dollar going down, the value of our token will go up and allow you to get more when you redeem it for things like food, educational materials, supplies and other services provided directly from Compassionate Care Cultivators.
Compassionate Care Cultivators’ “CULTIVATE” token is a value-added medium for getting the goods and services you need without worrying about getting less for your dollars.
Thinks of it like an arcade (this is ONLY an example to show how the system works).
When you go to an arcade, you take your government issued dollars and put them into a machine that then gives you tokens. Then you use those tokens to play games. Some of those games allow you to win prizes (or tickets you can redeem for prizes). Some games allow you to play longer the more successful you are at that particular game. This gives the user an incentive to buy more tokens to play more games, especially if users are really good at games.
This is a broad, simplified, explanation of how our token system works. The main concept to understand is our value-added incentives - basically, you get more and can do more for your exchange.
Using the arcade example again…
When you go to the an arcade and exchange your dollars for tokens, you receive an amount of tokens equal to your dollar. Generally speaking, each game is 25 cents (sometimes more for advanced games), breaking your dollar into 4 quarters giving you the chance to play 4 times (the same game 4 times, 4 different games, or a combination - less of the games cost more than 1 quarter/token).
This means your exchange is 1 to 1 but you MUST spend at least $1 to get any tokens. PLUS, you CANNOT redeem your unused tokens back to cash if you decide not to play them all. You can come back to play more games on another day or that money was wasted on that token and the arcade makes a profit because you didn’t redeem that token.
The arcade also doesn’t have any incentive to “buy back” your tokens because they purchased them very cheap and the tokens are recycled over and over again making them even more profit with little expense. Plus they don’t allow you to use tokens for snacks, food and drinks they offer (IF they offer them at all).
